To be honest, I never thought Trump was very funny at all. Much more disturbing than comical; he’s cynically exploiting the degraded xenophobic right wing voting base, and while it’s easy to make fun of someone so extreme, the fact that it’s actually working is very unsettling.

I never “got” Trump. I’m still astounded at the love fest with this con. He’s ruined more people than most small towns hold. He’s acted the supreme jerk off since day one. Funny? Nope. He’s just got his grift down and now he’s fine tuning the rhetoric to appease a whole lot of really fucked up stupid people. Donald Trump is a phony rich spoiled vile pitiful creature. He’s the poster boy for everything WRONG with America and living proof money can not buy class or a soul. Fuck him and that pelt on his pointy head. Now watch the GOP lick his boots.

Why there’s suddenly this surge of hatred for immigrants is sort of a mystery. Why Donald Trump, who’s probably never even interacted with an undocumented immigrant in a non-commercial capacity, in particular should care so much about this issue is even more obscure.

If Taibbi read LGF, he’d know the answer: the hatred has been there all along. Trump is just shamelessly exploiting it, showing everyone what the modern GOP is made of.

Hopefully he’s just hastening its death and not winning converts.
